The first step is a short consultation call with the Reeku team so we can answer questions, understand your space, and walk you through the registration process. The call is mandatory, but it's quick, no more than 10 minutes. Registration only needs to be completed once. The faster you complete them, the faster Reeku can create your listing and start approving bookings.
No! You can take great photos with your smartphone camera. Just make sure your space is clean, well-lit, and photographed clearly. Better photos usually lead to more bookings, which means more money in your pocket.
Yes! Reeku doesn't only accept entire apartments. As long as your bedroom is private, shared common spaces, including kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms, are totally fine. You can live with partners, roommates, family, or others and still list with Reeku. We've seen strong booking rates for Reekupers who share their homes, so it's not a concern.
Your place will be cleaned before and after each guest stay. Reeku arranges professional cleaning before guests arrive, and we recommend having an extra set of sheets and towels available to make turnover easier. After a guest checks out, cleaning is covered by Reeku through a cleaning fee.
Reeku partners with Safely.com to screen guests through detailed background checks before their booking is approved. For Airbnb-listed properties, Airbnb also provides insurance protection through AirCover for Hosts. In the case of damage, you'll just need to notify Reeku within 10 days and provide the required evidence.
If you have a physical key, you'll need to make a spare copy and place it in a secure, accessible lockbox. If you don't have a lockbox, Reeku will provide one for you. If you have a smart lock, no physical key is needed.
There are no upfront costs to get started with Reeku. Your apartment is dynamically priced based on comparable stays in your area, and your earnings are paid directly to your bank account through Stripe. Reeku earns a share of each successful booking for managing the listing, guest communication, pricing, and stay logistics. We only get paid when you do.
